About Us
Who we are.....
Fallen Timbers Custom Woodworking was started by a guy (me) with a passion for working with his hands, the love of nature, and the idea of combining the two to create custom and absolutely unique gifts for family and friends. I specialize in using locally sourced (Central Texas) and milled, rough sawn timbers to create my custom cutting and charcuterie boards. None of my boards are edge glued or mixed with any other species of wood beside the one you have chosen. This practice lessens the chance of warpage and separation over time. Just like us, no two are nor will ever be exactly alike.
Our Story
We started in November of 2020 as a way to generate a little extra revenue during the height of the COVID pandemic. I originally called my small business "CER Laser Creations" because at the time I was more focused on using my diode laser to create one-of-a-kind gift items. I owned a HIIT gym at the time, and with all of the uncertainty surrounding the current events at the time, I knew I needed to have a backup plan. Little did I know that I would have to shut my gym down permanently at the end of 2020.
Fast forward a few months later and Fallen Timbers Custom Woodworking was born. What started out as a fun hobby turned into my full-time "job" and I haven't looked back. Confucious was 100% correct when he said “Choose a job you love and you'll never have to work a day in your life”. It never gets old watching my clients' eyes light up when they see what Mother Nature ultimately gave them. Mother Nature is the true star of the show, I'm just blessed enough to be the supporting actor.
Delivery & Returns
The vast majority of the items I make are custom items made to your specifications. The normal lead time is 5-7 days from the time of order to shipment. Larger and/or more intricate orders may take longer to complete but we will always communicate that.
I will gladly accept returns and/or exchanges. Please contact me within 3 days of delivery and with the item being shipped back within 30 days. Buyers are responsible for all return shipping costs.
Personalized orders cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive damaged or defective. Please contact me immediately if this is the case. Personalized means that the item has been laser-etched or personalized in another form and/or fashion.

Square is my preferred choice for processing payment information. Rest assured that none of your personal information is stored by me in any way, shape, or form.
